道南は今日も大雪。
道南いさりび鉄道からは優等列車は姿を消しましたが
本州と北海道を結ぶ貨物列車がバンバン走る
大動脈でもあるのです。
このEH800形機関車は、
在来線用の機関車ながら
北海道新幹線と青函トンネルを共用するため
新幹線と同じ電圧、信号方式で運行される
ここでしか見られない機関車なのです。
白銀の世界に真っ赤なボディーが
たまりませんなぁ。
珍しく鉄分の濃いいちてつでした（笑）

I had a havey snow today too.
There is no high-class trains on the Dounan-Isaribi Railway.
But it is also one of the main arteries which conveyed the goods by a lot of freight trains to the Hokkaido and Honshu.
This EH800 series locomotive which is a car for old railroad line but it was operated by special voltage and signal system for Shinkansen to share the Seikan Tunnel with Shinkansen.

Bright red body glows in the pure white world.
How brilliant it is!
Today's Ichitetsu is rarely filled by "Tetsu-bun".

鉄道写真家として本領発揮ですね。究極の引き算「雪」！！！
前にも書いたような気がしますが、巨匠のテレビ番組で、雪山のトンネルから飛び出し迫ってくる蒸気機関車を正面から縦構図で、そして煙をモクモクと吐き出しながら･････

なんというか力強い！という雰囲気にあふれる貨物列車が好きです。
いつも陰から支えて貰ってるんですね～。
今日の一鉄英訳に挑戦です。

狭いはずなのに広い日本。大阪では考えられない景色ですよね。
頑張れ電車。いい赤ですよね。
