It was a heavenly spot for me.
Because I could enjoy the sound of nose suspension drive and sweets at the same time.

A train which has wooden floor.
Matching designed Converse.
The good old days of Shonan are kept in Enoden.

江ノ電の腰越から
鎌倉高校前にかけての区間は
古い町並みの軒をかすめるように
電車が走ります。
僕が初めて江ノ電に来た約４０年前から
ほとんど変わっていない気がします。
人と鉄道の近さが
江ノ電の魅力ですね。

The train passes so close to old houses between Koshigoe and Kamakura-Koukou-Mae of Enoden.
I suppose that the situation haven't changed since 40 years ago when I got on the Enoden for the first time of my life.
Tight distance between people and railway is the glam of Enoden.

線路わきに立つ
昔ながらの花屋さん。
窓に映った電車に
お花を添えて
パチり。

I found a traditional flower shop which beside the tracks.
I gave the flowers to the train on a window shade and clicked the shutter of my camera.

きょうもいつもの公園へ。
夕方ちょっと晴れ間が出て
空は夕焼け色に。
お気に入りの田んぼの水鏡で列車を狙ったら
先頭部同士が運良くすれ違いました。
とっさに別カットを撮るべく
カメラを上げて列車を入れた構図にしたら
ほぼ同じ位置で列車後部がすれ違い！
なんてことない偶然だけど
ちょっとうれしい夕暮れでした。

I went to the park where I usually go today too.
There was a sunny interval in the evening and the sky turn to the evening glow.
When I aimed trains through the water reflection of a rice field which is my favorite place to take photos,luckily,the head of trains passed each other.
Whats more,when I lifted my camera and aimed trains,the tail of the trains passed each other at the same point!
It's just coincidence but thanks to the coincidence,I was happy this evening.

今日は久々に西武秩父線へ。
清らかな山の緑は
見ているだけで健康になりそう。
でも大雨の中待てども待てども
列車が来ません。
あとで調べたら
なんと東飯能駅で手投げ弾が見つかり
列車のダイヤに大幅な遅れが出ていたようです。
見ているだけで健康になりそうな山を見ながら、
危うく風邪ひくところでした（笑）

I visited Seibu Chichibu line for the first time in a while.
Just looking at the clean and fresh green likely made me healthy.
I waited and waited,but there was no sign of train coming.
When I checked the reason of delay later.
Dear me! Some items which looked like hand grenades were found at Higashi-Hannō Station.
So,the trains were running late.
While I was looking at the mountain which made me healthy,I was on the verge of catching a cold.

介護施設に入っている母が
突然入院することになり
バタバタな１日。
親のこと
子どものこと
この歳になると
いろいろな悩みが
次々と現れます。
ひとつひとつ
乗り越えて行くしかないんだなぁ。
夜、いつのまにか育った稲と
パチり。

Suddenly,My mother who was in nursing facility had to be admitted to a hospital.
It was busy day for me.
About my children,about my parents,a lot of troubles appears in sequence.
There is no way without to clear every single hurdles.
In the evening,I took photos of train and rice plants which was raised before I knew it.

四川省から
いつもの公園に帰ってきました。
こうしてみると
このへんものんびりしているなぁなんて
しみじみ。
またバタバタと日常に戻ります。

I came back to the park where I usually go from Sichuan Province.
Now that I look at this scenery,this place has unhurrying atmosphere too.
I return to my busy daily life again.

芭石鉄路の現代とは思えない風景に
毎日魅了されています。
特に朝と夕方に２往復運転されている普通車は、
写真のような簡素な客車で運行されていて
タイムスリップしたかのような風景になります。
この風景がいつまでも残ることを
願って止みません。
また来年、菜の花が咲き乱れるころに
撮りにきたいな。

I'm charmed by a scenery in Shibanxi Railway everyday.
I don't think that the scenery are at the present day.
Especially,a local train which is operated two times a day,in the morning and evening,uses an old simple coach as a photograph.
It takes the scenery back in time.
I really hope that this scenery will be kept forever.
I'd like to come again to take photos in the next best season of the rape-flowers.

秘境の谷に煙を残し、

目の前に展開される風景が、
奇跡のように思えてなりません。
一瞬一瞬を大切に

A steam locomotive spit smoke and run through the valley of mysterious lands.
I felt almost as if the scenery took me back in time.
I couldn't think of anything but that the scenery which was developed before me was the very miracle.
I etched every single moment in my heart and in my work.

突然ですが
中国は四川省にある芭石鉄路に来ています。
ここは蒸気機関車が今も現役で走る
山奥のナローゲージ。
ゆる鉄派の僕としては
ず〜っと前から憧れていた路線なのです。
トンネルから飛び出す老機関車の勇姿と
機関士さんの真剣な眼差し。
タイムスリップしたかのような
汽車のある風景に
感動しまくりの１日でした。
明日もこの鉄道を撮影します！

It's kind of sudden,I'm visiting to Shibanxi Railway which is in Sichuan of China.
It is a narrow gauge deep in the mountain.
On the railway,steam locomotive runs even now.
I found a brave figure of an old locomotive which runs off from a tunnel and an intent look of an old engineer.
I was moved by the scenery with train all day.
I'll take photo of this railway tomorrow too!

関東はひさびさの
すっきりとした晴天。
電車もとっても気持ち良さそう。
まるで青空に泳ぐ鯉のぼりみたいに
楽しそうに走って行きました。

Today,it was clear weather for a long time in Kanto.
The train looked so comfortable.
The train run away delightfully as a carp which swam in the clear blue sky.

美しくて
奇妙で
平和な
東京の風景。
外国の人が見たら
どう思うのかな？
僕も旅人になって
こんな街を客観的に
見てみたいな。

Beautiful strange peaceful scenery of Tokyo.
I don't know what foreigners image when they see this town.
I'd like to see this town as a traveler.

森の中のような都会。
全国的には晴れが多いけど
関東地方は
夏になりそうな
まだ遠いような
暑いような
涼しいような
不思議な天気が続きますね。
すっきりとした晴れが恋しいわん。

It looks a big city is in a forest.
It is fine day today in almost of all area in Japan.
However the weather in Kanto area is still unsettled as a summer or still spring or warm or cool ...
I'd like to meet a clear blue sky.

父親の墓参りへ。
途中に立ち寄った田んぼには
たくさんのヘビいちごが！
昔は毒があるなんて言われていて
ちょっとコワい感じだったけど
なんてことはない、フツーに食べられるし
ジャムにもできるらしいですね。
もっと食べておけばよかったなぁ（笑）

I went to visit a grave of my father.
I found a lot of "Dunchesnea indica" in rice fields where I stopped on the way to the grave.
When I was child,I heard that it has effects of poison.
So I scared it.
But,no problem,you can eat it as normal and make it jam.
I shold have eaten it... lol

重い雲を流したような水鏡が、
平凡な日常を
ドラマチックに映しだす。
毎日違う空。
それを意識できるのも
やっぱりカメラのおかげなんだね。

The glassy surface of water,it seems being filled with heavy clouds,reflects common scene dramatically.
The sky changes at all times.
I can notice that thank to my camera.

十川駅のちかくでみられる
こいのぼりの川渡し。
四万十川に吹く風を受けて
気持ちよさそうに泳いでいました。

The second day of Shikoku Photo Tour.
I took photos of Yodo Line today.
It is the Carp Streamer which you can see it near the Tōkawa Station.
It swam comfortably by the wind which blew on the Shimanto River.
The tour was end without troubles.

今日はNHK文化センターが企画したツアーで
四国へやってきました。
写真は大洲城と予讃線。
望遠レンズで列車をお城の一部のように
撮ってみたら、迫力満点でした。

I came to Shikoku to join a tour which was planned by NHK Culture Center today.
TOday's my work is Oosu castle and Yosan Line.
I tried to take photos of the train as a part of the castle.
It became a spectacular one.

I traveled along the Keihin-Kyuko Line for making film of Hirunandesu today.
It was a nice trip this time too.

水鏡が生み出す
不思議な世界。

The fantastic world which was created by water reflection.
As a kaleidoscope.

先日から耳に水が入ったような感じが取れず
年貢を納めて耳鼻科へ。
原因は水が入ったのではなく、
長年溜まった耳の奥の垢が固まって
鼓膜が見えない状態だったとのこと(ﾟｰﾟ;
除去してもらったら
スゲーよく聞こえるようになりましたとさ。
でも除去はすごい痛かったです。
帰り道、レイクタウンから1鉄。
ここも建物がいっぱい建って
前回撮影したところが
マンションで電車が見えなくなっていてビックリ。
どんどん景色は変わるものなのですね。

I have felt that water entered into the ears for the last few days.
I gave up and went to an otorhinologist.
The result was a waxy substance which was formed in the ear fixed and covered my tympanic membrane... :p

After removing the waxy substance,I could hear sounds well.
But the removing treatment was so painful.

On the way back home,I took the photos for Ichitets.
There was nice position for take photo of train in the past but now a building was built and hide trains.
I was surprised to find that.
I realised that the scenery is changing continuously.

昨日に引き続き
またまた小湊鐵道へ。
どんだけ好きやねん（笑）
今日はBMW BIKESというバイク雑誌の取材でした。
発売日など決まりましたら
おしらせしますね。
連休も終わり人出も少なくなった沿線は
のんびりムード。
単行の気動車がゆる〜く
通り過ぎていきました。

Continuing from yesterday,I went to Kominato Railway once again today.
How do I like about it!?
I was covered by a magazine of motorcycle which name is "BMW BIKES".
When I got the information about the release date,I'll inform you.

The area along the Railway has relaxed atmosphere because the Golden Week ended and clouds passed away.
A single diesel car went past gently in front of me.

今日はエプソンさんにご協力いただき
小湊鉄道でプリント体験つき写真教室を開催。
参加者のみなさんと
小湊鉄道のゆる〜い風景を
楽しく撮影しました。
一人２枚プリントをしたのですが、
みなさんがプリントした写真を
大事そうに眺めていたのが印象的でした。
写真をカタチあるものに変えてくれる
プリントってやっぱりいいなぁと実感しました。
今日のいちてつは、現実とは思えない
空想の世界のような一枚になりました。

I held a photo class with print experience in Kominato Railway supported by EPSON today.
I enjoyed taking photos of gently scenery of Kominato Railway with participants.
We printed only 2 photos per participants and everyone looked at the printed pictures importantly.
It was impressive for me.

I realized that "printing" which makes data a real picture is good,as I thought.
Today's my work for Ichitetsu has fantastic atmosphere.
It doesn't seem real world.

Twilight Express瑞風にバッタリ。

すっかり魅了されちゃいました。

On the way back home from Tottori,I run into "Twilight Express Zuiho".
I was really attracted to the new design.
I'd like to take photos of the cool running figure as soon as possible.

今日はいよいよ
若桜鉄道ピンクSLイベントの日。
人口約3000人の若桜町に
なんと約1000人もの来場者があったそうで
感謝感激です。
今日は天気予報も外れ、
とても穏やかで美しい夕焼けになり
蒸気機関車の煙もあいまって
とても印象的な風景になりました。

Finally,it is the day of "Wakazakura Railway Pink SL Event" today.
Surprisingly,I heard that over 1,000 audiences came today!
I was so much obliged!

The weather reports have been off today and we had so calm and beautiful sunset.
The beautiful sunset and smoke of SL combine to impressive scenery.
Thank audience and staff members for coming.

ピンクSLイベントの準備のため
鳥取県に前のり。
明日のイベントの目玉は、
中井精也プロデュースの「夜のピンクSL撮影会」。
今日はライトの位置決めをしてテスト撮影。
今日は煙を出していませんが
本番ではSLから煙が出ますので
もっと幻想的で妖しげな風景を撮影できると思います。
撮影はよる７時スタート。
その場で僕が撮影指導するほか
スマホでも簡単に撮影できる明るさにしていますので

小湊鉄道ってホント、
童話の世界を走っていますね。

Baby bamboos are growing rapidly.
Actually,the trains of Kominato railway runs in the fantasy world,doesn't it?
I held a gallery talk today.
What,over 500 people came to listen my talk show.
I was so excited today!
The photo exhibition is still open!
The bamboo forest is near the hall too.
Please come to see my works!

越谷のいつもの田んぼにも、
そろそろ水が入り始めました。
毎年のことなのに
なぜか嬉しくなっちゃうから不思議です。
僕は越谷生まれではないけど
僕にとっての故郷の風景に
なりつつあるのかもしれませんね。

The rice fields in Koshigaya is gradually filled with water.
It's yearly event.
I don't know why,that makes me happy every year.

I wasn't born in Koshigaya.
However,I suppose that the events in Koshigaya becomes scenery of my home.

東武鉄道に新しくデビューした特急リバティーは、
東武鉄道線内だけでなく
野岩鉄道、会津鉄道経由で
会津田島まで乗り入れます。
「戦隊モノ」のようなビビッドなデザインなので
会津の風景との「違和感」を狙ったのですが、
なかなかどうして、風景にうまく調和しています。
会津のニューフェイスは、
鉄道の旅をますます魅力的にしてくれそうです。

The limited express "Liberty" which made it's debut on Tobu-Raiway links up with not only Tobu-Railway but also Aizu Tashima by way of Noiwa-Raiway and Aizu-Raiway.
It has vivid design as superheroes.
So I aimed strange atmosphere which was created by vivid train and rural scenery of Aizu but it blend in to the scenery well.
I suppose that the New-Face in Aizu will make charming travel of railway.
