It is a cute train of Nihsitetsu-Kaiduka Line that the train running slowly under the cherry blossoms.
I love the cute and retro head lights.
The yellow body is well matched the pastel spring pink.

2018年4月7日（土）〜6月24日（日）にかけ、
神奈川県の川崎市市民ミュージアムにて写真展を開催いたします！

企画展タイトルは “笑顔あふれる「ゆる鉄」ワールド”
「1日1鉄！」のシリーズから約150点、
そして「夢と希望の三陸鉄道」からは約50点の展示を予定しております。

さらに、
2016年に東急電鉄の田園都市線たまプラーザ駅で開催した、
写真展『DT moment』の作品を、特別スペースを設け展示いたします！

期間中は2回のトークイベントも開催。

僕のキャリアの中でも
最南端の桜です。

I'm visiting Kyusyu.
There are these cherry blossoms at Kaimon station of Ibusuki-Makurazaki line.
It is the southernmost cherry trees which I have ever seen.
I'm looking forward to the Kyushu trip filled with spring

万華鏡のような枝垂れ桜。
ソメイヨシノはまだまだこれからだけど
いよいよ越谷も
春本番かな。
明日からまた長旅。
帰ってきたら、桜が散ってるかもと思うと
ちょっと寂しいな。

It's a weeping cherry as a kaleidoscope.
Although the best season of Yoshino cherry has not come yet,I suppose the spring has come in Koshigaya finally.
I'm going to go to a long journey again tomorrow.
When I came back from the journey,the cherry blossoms will be fallen.
I will miss that.

ホーローの看板も懐かしい電停に
都電がやってきました。
「ふるさと」というと
田園風景や藁葺農家を思いうかべる人が多いと思うけど、
東京生まれの東京育ちの僕にとっては
こんな下町の風景が
故郷の風景なのです。
この三ノ輪橋電停の近くで
僕の大きな夢が叶おうとしています。

前々からいろんな場所で話していましたが
自分の作品を発表するギャラリーと
額装作品を販売するショップをもつことが
ずっと僕の夢でした。
そしてなんとこのたび
三ノ輪橋電停に近い
僕の大好きな「ジョイフル三ノ輪」商店街に
ギャラリー＆ショップを持つことになりました！

まだ前の看板がついたままですが（汗）
この場所を確保するだけで
財布はスッカラカンになってしまったので（笑）
一気に完成させず
ゆっくりと自分らしいギャラリーに仕上げていきたいと
思っています。

内装はこんな感じ。
ほとんどそのままギャラリーに使えそうです。
半分はショップ、
もう半分は何ヶ月かごとにテーマを決めて
作品展を開催したいと思います。
まだ確約はできませんが、
5月のGWオープンに向けて
頑張ってみようと思います。

場所は歩いているだけで太りそうな（笑）
買い食いの聖地
ジョイフル三ノ輪商店街のど真ん中。
銭湯のとなりです。
電停から約２分。
オオムラパンから１分。

A street car came to a train stop which has enameled signs which brings me back.
If you say "Furusato (Dream Hometown)",many people image rural scene and a house with a straw-thatched roof.
However,the downtown scenery like this is my the scenery of my birthplace because I was born and grew up in Tokyo.
My big dream is coming true near the Minowa-Bahi train stop.

I spoke about my dream at many different place,it has been my dream that to have a gallery to appear my works and to sell my framed pictures.
Oh,dear!I'm going to have my gallery and shop in Joyful Minowa shopping street which I love.
It is near Minowa-bashi train stop.

The past sign has been on the wall...
My wallet became empty after only securing of the place...
I think that I will make my own shop which I imaged in my dream without making in a breath.

Its interior is like this.
I suppose I can use this space as a gallery without renovating.
I'll use the half for shop space and another half for gallery.
I'd like to decide topic every several month and have exhivision suiting the topic.
I can't promise anything,but I'll do my best to open the shop in GW in May.

It is in the middle of Joyful Minowa shopping street.
The shopping street is mecca for buying and eating sweets.
So you will be fat only walk along the shopping street. lol
It is next to a public bath.
You need 2 minutes from Minowa-bashi train stop,1 minute from Omura pan.
When I decide the detail about that,I'll inform you about my gallery.

「タイ縦断1700kmの旅」が放送されました。
ご覧いただけましたか？
1月にロケしたのですが
もうずいぶん昔のように思えてしまいます。
気づけばもうすぐ4月。
歳を重ねるにつれ
時間の流れがどんどん速くなっていく
気がします。
今日の1鉄は
時間が止まったかのような
いつもの電車。
キレイな夕日に心が和みます。

Tetsu-tabi special program "Travel down through Thailand over 1,700km" was broadcasted today.
Did you watch it?
Although we made the program in January,I think that was many moons ago.
April is just round the corner when I realized it.
The longer I live,I feel that the time flies faster than past.
Today's Ichi-tetsu is a train which I usually took the photo of as the time stops.
I felt relax to see the beautiful dawn.

今日は春分の日だというのに
凍えるような冷たい雨。
でも春を迎える準備は
着々と進んでいました。

I had a chat show with Matsugoro Ishikawa who is local photographer and Koji Chiba who is the chief priest of Horinji temple at the lifelong festival which was held by Ichihara City in Chiba pref.
It was a nice chat show to talk about appealing points of Kominato Railway and that's wayside.

I did Ichitetsu before the chat show.
Even though it was the vernal equinox day,it was cold rainy day today.
However,the preparing to welcome the spring was progressing steadily.

いつもの街に戻ってきました。
旅をするからこそわかる
いつもの街の良さ。
安心できる場所があるからこそ
旅人はまた
旅にでれるのかもしれません。

I came back to my hometown.
I realized the value of my hometown because I often go off on a journey.
I suppose that there is a comfortable place that is why travelers go off on a journey.

山奥の線路を
ゆっくりと走り去ってゆく
SL牽引の軽便鉄道。
機関車が突然ブローオフして
ドラマチックな風景になりました。
それにしても
こんな風景がこの現代に残っていることが
奇跡に思えてなりません。
この旧型客車が見られるのは朝夕の2往復のみ。
その他は新しい客車や
SLもどきのディーゼル機関車が登場したりして
すっかり観光化されてしまっていますが、
逆を言えば、観光化されたからこそ
こんな素晴らしい風景がひっそりと
生き残れたのかもしれません。
朝夕だけ走る奇跡のSL軽便列車。
バンバン臨時が走る観光列車のダイヤに押され
大幅に遅れることが日常茶飯事のようですが、
それでもしっかりと
沿線の人たちの足として
活躍しています。
またいつか撮りに来たいな。

A narrow gauge train which were pulled by a steam locomotive slowly run away on a railway in the middle of a mountain.
Suddenly,steam locomotive blew off and the scenery became a dramatic view.

And yet,I thought it is miracle that the scenery remains in modern times without being lost.
You have only two times chances to see the old passenger car in the morning and evening.
The other train uses new passenger car or a diesel car which looks like a SL.
So,the railway completely changed into a tourist destination.
In other words,I suppose,that is especially why the amazing scenery have been kept silently.

I met the miracle narrow gauge railway which run only morning and evening.
It is a daily occurrence that to late drastically because the relief service trains for sight seeing operate fluently in those days.
But the miracle SL keeps active for local residence along the railway.

I'd like to come and take photos of them someday.

すっかり観光地っぽくなってしまった
と言われる芭石鉄路ですが、
朝夕に2往復だけ
かろうじて残っている普通列車は、
マッチ箱みたいな簡素な車両で運用されており
とても現代とは思えない風景が広がります。
ここは起点の石渓駅。
簡素なSL列車だけでなく
ホームにはいきいきとした暮らしの風景がありました。
いつまでも
いつまでも残って欲しい
好ましい鉄道風景です。

Some say Shibanxi Railway became a tourist spot completely.
However,the common train remains only two round trips a day in the morning and evening.
It is operating with simple carriages as a matchbox.
So it doesn't seem a modern scenery.

Here is Sokke station which is the starting point.
Not only a simple SL trains but also vivid scenery of daily life was on the platform.

It is the pleasant railway scenery.
I hope strongly that it will be kept forever.

There is a season even if in the rotary of Akihabara,the midst of Tokyo.
while I was charmed by the white of pretty flowers,clicked the shutter of my camera.

ようやく咲いた梅の花。
でも列車が通りすぎるたびに花吹雪。
冬がしっかりと寒かった今年。
待ちに待った春が
あっという間に通り過ぎていきそうで
ちょっと焦ってしまいます。

Finally Ume blossoms have bloomed.
However,the blossoms were fallen like a snow storm by every train.
It was so cold this winter.
I'm irritating because spring I have been waiting for will pass away in a minutes.

I had a meeting in Tokyo today.
I took a photo of a train in urban area in gentle atmosphere between meetings.
I imaged mild and warm spring.

今日は僕の母校である暁星学園の
鉄道研究部５０周年イベントに参加。
熊谷から横川までEL＋旧客を貸し切って
鉄道文化むらでは講演会も開催しました。
鉄道研究部の活動は
今の僕の基礎となっています。
そしていまもこうして鉄道を愛していられること
とても幸せに感じました。
現役生およびOB、そして顧問の先生方
本当にご苦労様でした。
楽しい旅になりました。

I joined the 50th anniversary of the Railway Resarch Society of Gyosei high school which was my old school today.
We reserved a EL Series diesel car and old passenger car from Kumagaya to Yokokawa and had a lecture at Tetsudou-Bunka-Mura.
The club activities of the society is the base of current me.
And I felt happy that I have been loved railway still now.
Thank the students and OB and club advisers.
That was a very fun trip for me.

今日は桐生市が主催する景観講演会の日。
ホールがいっぱいになるほど
たくさんの方々に聞いていただき
とっても盛り上がりました。
このイベントは桐生市の都市計画課が中心となって
市民のみなさんに自分の街の景観に
少しでも興味を持ってもらおうと開催しているもの。
ふだんあまり意識することのない自分が暮らす街を
あらためて見直すきっかけになるような試み
素晴らしいなぁと思うと同時に
市長さんをはじめとしてスタッフのみなさんの
この街に対する愛をひしひしと感じました。

今日の１鉄は桐生市の宝物
上毛電鉄の西桐生駅。
洋風建築のモダンな駅舎は、
上毛電鉄が開業した昭和3年製で、
マンサード屋根がとってもオシャレ。
行き止まり式の改札には、
電車が到着するたびに
駅員さんが立ってお客さんを迎えています。
今となってはぬくもりが感じられるこの駅
いつまでも
このままでいてくれるといいな。

It was the day of Cityscape Lecture Day of Kiryu-City today.
So many audience came to my lecture that the hall was full and my lecture was liven up.
The event is held by Urban Planning Division of Kiryu-City.
They want residense of Kiryu-City became interested in their town.
It's an opportunity to review their hometown where they live in.
I thought it's nice event and felt the love of the mayor and the staffs of Kiryu-City for their hometown.

Today's Ichi-tetsu is "Nishi-Kiryu-Station" of Jomo railway which is a treasure of Kiryu-City.
The western-style modern station building was built in the 3rd of Showa era when Jomo railway started operation.
Its' mansard roof looks so cool.
Station staffs,every time train arrived,stand and welcome passangers at the blind ticket barrier.
At this time,we feels warmth in this style.
I hope that the style will keep for ever.

自分で言うのもなんだけど
まぁよく毎日懲りずに撮るよなぁ（笑）

It rained heavily in this evening.
I suppose that it is the ceremony to initiate spring.
When being exposed to the rain,I can't wait for flowering spring.

虫をついばみはじめました。

出てきたのかな？

When I lie down in the glass field,starlings fly over to the field and start pecking worms.
I wonder the worms realize that the spring has come.

There is a doll of Yontama in this photo.
And you can find the Yontama behind the doll. lol
The cats who works hard made me feel better today.

今日は春の嵐が吹き荒れて
関西圏の鉄道は大きく乱れました。
大幅に遅れて新大阪駅に到着した
パンダちゃん。
ぐったりで おめめも充血してますね（笑）
お疲れさまでした。

「CP＋が終わったらやりますっ！」
って先延ばししていた原稿やロケが
イッキにやってきて
僕の顔も同じく
ぐったりパンダになってます…

The trains in Kansai area were delayed so much because it was stormy weather in spring.
It is Panda train that could just arrived to Osaka Station behind schedule.
He lookes very tired because he has inflamed eyes. lol
Good job!

I said "I will do my works after the CP+!"lately.
Then a lot of manuscripts and photo trip is rushing to my schedule now.
So my face looked like a tired Panda as the train...

とても幸せでした。

遠くに富士山。
とても印象的な夕景でした。

The 4 day event "CP+" was ended.
There were a lot of audience of my talk session booth so I was very happy.

After my talk show,I went to an observation tower and found Mt.Fuji far away.
It was very impressive beauty of the evening.

びっくりするほど
たくさんの方に見ていただき
写真家として
幸せな1日になりました。
あと残り1日。
ちょっと寂しいけど
最後まで全力で頑張ります。

The third day of CP+.
Surprisingly many people came to every single my booth today too.
It was a very happy day for me as a photographer.
Tomorrow is the last day.
I miss it but I'll do my best to the last one minute of this event.

鳥の目線でみた横浜の街は
オモチャの街のように
見えました。
CP＋2日目も大盛り上がりで
とても幸せでした。
明日も頑張ります！

The bird's-eye view of Yokohama city looked like a toy town.
I was so happy because the second day of CP+ warmed up.
I'll do my best tomorrow too!
